#HardHatWeek is a statewide initiative that encourages high school seniors to commit to working in a construction job after graduation. The construction industry is booming with growth opportunities and great pay — and it’s waiting for you.

By participating in this challenge, you’ll have a chance to win $1,000, and all you need to do is post about your commitment on social media using #HardHatWeek.

One senior will be randomly chosen to win $1,000 and the teacher that encouraged them will receive $200 to use in the classroom.

Details to win:

  • Student must be a high school senior.
  • Must include #HardHatWeek in their post.
  • Post must be from a public account, not private, and include a photo of the student, with a caption sharing that after high school, they are signing on to work in a construction career.
  • Must be posted between May 1st-May 5th.

Sample post caption:
“This #HardHatWeek I am excited to announce that after graduating from [school name] this semester, I have committed to work with [construction company] as a [position name]. My teacher [First and Last name] helped me make this decision – thank you!”
